"I studied a Diploma in Spanish and after this I wanted to continue with my studies in Spanish. I contacted the Spanish Institute to enquire about their classes, they were so friendly and helpful, I have completed over 1 year with them studying Lower Advanced Spanish and I intend to continue with my studies in the Autumn. Rocio is my teacher and she is so friendly and helpful and I have learned so much whilst in her class, I really enjoy going to class every Monday and enjoyed our classes via Zoom during the pandemic. I have met some lovely classmates too and we learn and laugh together, The Spanish Institute for me is the perfect environment to advance my Spanish."

"I have studied with the Spanish institute for over 4 years now. I have had different tutors over the years and have always enjoyed the classes. Each teacher always brings something unique and the classes are a mix of structured learning but always with some fun videos or topics for discussion. This has helped enormously as I felt I was always learning in a welcoming and engaging environment.
Progress has been steady over the years and the new zoom classes were just as much fun and engaging. Learning a new language and making new friends at the same time. A great combination."

"Following an enquiry by email the Spanish Institute sent me a short exam so that they could put me in a class that matched my knowledge of the language. Afterwards, I called into their office and was met by Laura and Rocio and immediately felt very comfortable in their company. Two great ambassadors for Spain and the Spanish language! The classes are pitched perfectly. You are encouraged to speak Spanish from Day 1. Every topic is up for discussion. They encourage debate on history, news, politics and all things “Spanish” At their conversation classes the teachers really encourage you to speak the language. The nights out in Deli La Tasca gives a real feel for Spanish Tapas.
The goal was to be able to speak and understand enough Spanish to enjoy further trips to Spain by chatting to native speakers. I have achieved and surpassed that goal, thanks to ALL of the enthusiastic and energetic teachers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting at the Spanish Institute. Four years on….I am looking forward to the next course. I would really recommend the Spanish Institute as a place to learn Spanish."

"I have been attending the Spanish Institute for a number of years, from beginner to intermediate level, and I am very happy with the progress I have been making. I was looking for a course that introduced me to the basics of the language but would allow me to go to as high a level as I wished. The course delivered on this by starting with the basics and progressing at a steady pace through the various levels. The teachers are friendly, easygoing and understanding of the difficulties in learning a new language. Mistakes are seen as an essential part of learning as opposed to something to be avoided. The class sizes are small and have a comfortable feel about them. As well as the language course, the teachers provide insights into Spanish culture such as food, movies etc. There are also more informal conversational group events to help the learning process and social events are organised during the term to add to the whole experience."

"I would highly recommend the Spanish Institute if you are interested in learning a new language. I’ve been taking both face-to-face and online classes at the Institute for the past 4 years, and it’s been a really positive experience. If you’re looking for a fun, and interactive way to learn Spanish and get to know Spanish culture with native teachers, this is the place to go. I cannot recommend it highly enough. ¡Salud!"

“I would highly recommend the Spanish Institute to my friends and family. The teaching style, atmosphere and location of the school are fantastic. I find the classes are well-structured and fun. The school caters for all levels of ability and the small class sizes are a huge advantage. It's also wonderful to have native speakers teaching the language. Apart from learning another language you are also experiencing another culture, meeting new people and becoming part of a community of language learner's.”
